A bit closer to getting her back on the road today. I had to remove the top yoke because brake-fluid from the old master cylinder had leaked onto it and made a mess of the paint, so it had to be redone and then refitted. Also removed the exhaust system and fitted brand new sealing bushes in the expansion box. Finally, I refitted the headlamp and all that's left to do (another day) is to bleed the new master cylinder.

ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog whilst looking for some pics and other interesting info on the CB 250n. I bought myself one today for a few euro`s and I am wondering what kind of surprises I will be encountering when going for a refurb.
How far are you with your refurb? I can`t see any pics of the restoration but am certainly interested.

Hi Tom have taken off your exhaust heat Shields tried to replace mine that had been painted but the four crosshead screws will not move any advice appreciated
