The swing-arm and brake torque-arm were heavy with oil and gunge, so after soaking them in the degreasing bath for an hour or so, I cleaned them up and inspected them for any signs of wear. It's not uncommon to find breaks on swing-arms that have been hidden by all the shite that builds up. Thankfully, both are perfectly serviceable (although I don't look forward to stripping them back to bare metal).
