Well here it is after I've finished treating it and after a few coats of VHT paint. Strangely enough, this paint is a very warm shade of black - looks quite unusual - it's Halford's own. If for some reason it doesn't work out (ie, it blisters or cracks), it's no big deal to whip it back off and redo.
