DID A BIT MORE OF THE WIRING

Didn't have much time tonight because my daughter and grandson came over to visit, but I did at least manage to get the loom routed correctly and tied in place. You know, you'd think it was very easy and obvious where such a simple loom went on a bike, but when you look at the original photos, you'll be surprised at the twists and turns. Anyway, it's all pretty much in place now.

As you can see, I placed a strip of insulation-tape at strategic places around the frame to avoid the cable-ties rubbing against the painted frame.

Next job will probably be the fitting of the battery box.

Tom,

I have been rebuilding a CB400N here in South Africa, and it is now complete and on the road. I just need to do the cosmetics, and I have just bought the decals from Sunrise Graphics (after reading that you used them).

I have the official Honda manual, for the 400, and in this it shows the correct routing for the wiring loom and control cables. If you need access to this I could photocopy it and fax it to you, or scan it in as a PDF and email it.

Let me know if you need this.

Hi Paul,
I have a copy of the manual as a PDF already. Never thought to look in there! LOL.

Send some pix of your project mate - be interested to see it.

Hi Tom

Your doing a great job on the superdream been following it for a while now.

Just wondering if you could email me the PDF manual you refer to in this blog, as i am a proud owner of a CB400N superdream. I am thinking of striping it down to the frame and powder coating it, the manual will help give me confidence to do the wiring job when rebuilding.

Thanks Dan
