This is one of the silencers. I would dearly like to replace with new, but I'm committed to spending as little as possible on this project, so it's a case of polish and elbow-grease. And lots of it!!! Despite their dreadful appearance, the silencers are mechanically sound. If I can get a few months use out of them, so much the better. Maybe replace them at the start of the summer.
